Happy Friday!! Its Friday and I am so excited for the World Cup Final tomorrow :D
Today I want to share another Thank You card with you all because we really can't have enough of those. I am using the sketch from Skipping Stones Sketch#70 and the colors from Claudia & Co Color Challenge#78 (loved the colors and also the fact that the inspiration came from one of Echo Park lines)
I had so much fun doing this one with stamping and masking. I have overcome so many of my fears with stamping, biggest being stamping directly on the white CS, over the past 6 months and now I enjoy stamping more than I ever thought I would. For this card I created a mask with 3 windows and stamped the "Thanks" sentiment from the Skipping Stone Grunge Set repeatedly with different inks in each window. So much fun!! Added some twine(didn't keep it straight for more interest), buttons and a tiny bit of stitching.
I also want to enter this card in Wee Memories Scrappy Saturday Challenge#48 - Free your creativity, anything goes.. And I just thought it would be fun to challenge you all a little bit and I am naming this one as "Overcome your fear of stamping "...cool, huh??
Challenge: Create a project - card, layout or altered item using any stamping technique that you fear or haven't tried yet. It could be as easy as just stamping, if you are really afraid of it till now.
How to enter: Link your projects in the comments section below.
Prize: I will pick a winner to win some cool Studio Calico products.
Who can enter: Anyone and everyone is welcome, including international crafters!!
Don't forget: to mention in your post what you were afraid of when you started your project. I would love to read how you braved the challenge.
Timeline: I will keep it open for 2 weeks and will pick a winner on 15 April 2011.
So go on and create something!
Hope you like it!! Thanks for visiting!!
