January is almost over! Time does fly :)

And I am happy that if not 3 posts a week, I posted more than I did in any of the months in 2014. Let's consider it a good start :)

It's time for the  monthly HC alumni blog hop and I today I have played around with water colors a bit.

Happy Republic Day :)

Happy Republic Day to all my Indian friends !

I have the perfect project to share today in line with the Republic Day mood :)

A virtual friend runs a home based Bakery business and makes some amazing chocolates and cakes. When she approached me to help her with some decor for an event on Republic Day, I couldn't say no. I totally love how this turned out :)

I did this bunting style banner for her brand name. Since all she had for the event was a table and nothing that could be put in the back drop, we decided to do something that she could put on the table. This little bunting would be tied to wooden skewers which would be put into long bottles and displayed on the table :)

Some tags to put on all of her bakery product packaging like the home baked bread. The top part is kept empty for her to write the product name and the flavour.

She is packing up big single cookies in brown paper bags and these little toothpick flags would be used to seal those brown bags. But they can well be…

A Walk Down the Memory Lane!

I love love love doing albums and it was a commissioned one I did recently!

The papers are from DCWV and I accented those with handmade flowers, pearls and stickers :)

Have a good day !

Card in a Box - Happy Birthday!

I finally tried my hands at a new fancy fold card. Have been seeing this everywhere these days, so thought I will give it a try :)

What I love about this fold is that the card folds flat and is easy to ship and yet it has that 3D effect. So fun!

It was so easy and fun to make this and the part I enjoyed the most was popping up those fun things :) I used the papers from DCWV stack, cupcakes is a Unity Stamp, balloon is hand cut and so is the present. I used my EKSuccess Punch to add a decorative border on the flaps. And the LOVE stamp in the background is from WPlus9 Studios.

You color my world!

So feels like I am on track for atleast this week with this being my third post :D

I have a card to share that I absolutely love. Even though it looks simple, it was really tough putting all those tiny pieces of flowers together but I love how it turned out and I think it was worth the effort :)

I made the frame using the Heartfelt Creations Cut Mat Create die. I used the memory box Tulip Petals die to create the flowers. I bought this die sometime back and never got around to using it. So I was kinda excited to see how it will work out :)
Although there is quite some dimension in the flowers, I wanted to add some more. So I used distress inks to make the innermost petal a shade darker than the rest. I hand drew the stems and hand cut the leaves. The sentiment is a Paper Smooches stamp.

Reach for the stars!

I really wish to keep up with my idea of blogging at least thrice a week this year and catch up on some of my favorite challenges around.

One of challenges that I have been following is Virginia's View Challenge! I think she always manages to come up with the challenge theme that really appeals to me and makes me want to create :)

This time challenge is to wipe the slate clean which implies the use of lot of white space and no layering. Totally my type :D

Here is my card,

I used Circus Animals stamp from My Cute Stamps! I love those animals :) The sentiment and stars are from a Lawn Fawn stamp set.

U were our missing piece! - A Baby Girl Album

Wishing you all a very Happy New year!
We had a quiet one at home this year. DH had quite a few holidays so we sorted our place a bit(it was in a mess since we were out of town for a long while), and spend time getting the other errands done!

I did finish this Baby Girl Album in the last week of December and I love how vibrant and pretty it turned out :)

Sharing some of my favorite pages here!

Most of the papers used are from the Echo Park - Sweet Girl Collection! I also mixed and matched a papers from few other brands.

Have a good day people!
