Heartfelt Creations Wednesday Inspiration!

With an ill baby and then a ill me and a ill husband, I didn't get together a new creation for this week for Heartfelt Creations. So I thought I will share an old project which I didn't get the opportunity to share here on the blog.

Festive Ornaments PreCut Set
Festive Candlelight PreCut Set
Christmas Poinsettia PreCut Set
Bella Rose Die
Sun Kissed Fleur Die
Paper Shaping Tools & Piercing Mat

Project Instructions:
Other Products: Distress Inks (Spun Sugar, Broken China, Worn Lipstick, Wild Honey), gold liquid glitter, Green Yarn, MS Circle Cutter.
Instructions: To view a larger project image, clickhere. Cut a circle with 10" diameter and the inner circle with 6" diameter to get a wreath structure that is 4" wide. Cover the wreath completely with green yarn. Stamp, white heat emboss and die cut Christmas Poinsettia flowers. Shape them and layer and add gold glitter to the centres. Add a ribbon bow to the top centre of the wreath. Stamp and cut ornaments from the Festive Ornament PreCut set and Candle from the Festive Candlelight PreCut Set. Die cut foliage using the Bella rose die and cover them with gold glitter. Arrange as shown.

Diwali Wishes

Hello people!! The weekend is so near that it makes me happy already :D Finally I started on my Diwali cards for this year. I know I am terribly late but I am trying to make it up. For my readers who aren't aware of the Diwali festival, Diwali is known as the festival of lights and one of the biggest festivals in India signifying the victory of good over evil. 10 things I love about you..

...thats what I told my DH yesterday as it was our engagement anniversary. One year back on 16th of May, we got engaged and I wanted to gift him something special and different and that is when I stumbled upon Monicka Wright's blog and decided to case her wonderful note card. I took the colors from Smidapaper May Color Challenge, polka dot theme from Lawnscaping Challenge. And I am also playing along Wee Memories Scrappy Saturday Challenge#56 - Get Sticky.

I used one of my favorite Echo Park collection "For the Record" for this card and love the way it turned out. Our Little Princess - Baby Girl Album/Scrapbook + Video
