Baby Wall Art!

And so I recently had a chance to make this adorable set of wall arts for the mother-to-be. She wanted to add a little touch to her room and get ready for the arrival of the baby. How sweet!

I had the most fun making these adorable little pieces. I used the stamps from My Cute Stamps and Paper Smooches, some pretty paper piecing and the clever thought of putting the baby elephant in the tub makes my heart go pitter patter each time I look at this :D

Here they are all framed and ready to go to their new home :)

Have a good day my friends!

MDF Box !

Ever since I started working in association with Craftslane and their awesome MDF products, I have been in love.
Their MDF products have such wide range and of course great finish and quality. So, yes you will be seeing a lot of MDF gorgeousness on my blog and that too very often :D

This week I worked on this fabulous MDF square box which could be used for anything really - jewellery box, chocolate box, trinklet holder, gift box, just about anything.

I tried combining decoupage with stamping(have been missing it off late :)) this time and loved the results.

Here's the before and after of the project.

Is it gorgeous or what?  :D

Here are a few more pictures for you.

And here is how it all came together :)

1.  Start with the fabulous MDF box and give a coat of white. I used spray paint as I was feeling adventurous but acrylic works great too :)

2. Let it dry. Use sand paper and get some of the paint off the box and give it a more shabby look.

3. Use your favorite pattern paper(I am…

Layout - Eating on her own!

Yes, yes, yes, I am on a scrapbooking spree and taking a break from everything else. Very determined to finish my baby's album :) And the sketch at C'est Magnifique are always so motivating. Go see the August Sketch and you will know what I mean.

I took these photos when my sweet girl started eating on her own and enjoyed it too. And I know I say this everytime but I love her pictures and the ones I am putting in her scrapbook are my favorties :)

I went through my Craftslane product stash and found this gorgeous paper from FabScraps that was perfect as a base for these sweet pictures of my baby. I then added some paint splatters to add more interest to the background. I used some scrap pieces of paper lying around from previous projects to matt the photos.
And then I went crazy with embellishments :D I used a mix of Echo Park Chipboard accents, american crafts flowers, Prima Flowers and Prima butterflies :)

"On The Farm" baby wall art!

This is long pending project something I made long time back but never got around to posting it. When I saw the current challenge at Itsy Bitsy - For the Kids  and I know this would be a perfect entry :D

This a A3 size wall art that took me so much time. All the elements other than the fence and the sun are hand-stamped, water-colored and fussy cut (even those little chickies & grass, so you can imagine :D). But the end result was so cute, that all the effort felt well worth it :)

I think this would look super cute in baby nursery or kid's room. And not only is it pretty and cute but it could also be used as a fun way to teach kids about farm animals.

I am also entering this for the Crafters Corner Challenge#11 - Anything Goes.

I love doing such projects. I hope you like it.

Layout - The Window Sill !

I am really pushing myself to finish my baby's first year book and I still have a lot of photos to scrap but at least I have the will now.

Inspired by My Mind's Eye August Challenge - Document your summer, I finished another page last night :)

This is when my baby was 8th months old and had just learned to stand with support. She loved the living room window sill and would immediately stop crying if we'd let her stand there. She was always all smiles, calling out to birds and fascinated with the sunshine. We loved spending our summers with her on the window sill :)

Look at her expressions. Kids are so cute, love them to bits :D

I used a lot of MME supplies and bits and pieces of other things. Here's the supply list

12X12 Paper - MME Fine & Dandy Collection  (Base Paper)
6X6 Paper Pad - MME Howdy Dowdy Collection (Sun cutouts , base for the sentiments and scattered circles)
Rhinestones - MME Follow Your Heart "Be Happy" Rhinestones
Buttons - MME Follow Yo…

Gift Tags Galore!

I have to say this. I love making tags. They are pretty little things that are quick to make and give any gift that personal edge. Who wouldn't want that?

I have made a lot in the past and here are a few that I made quite recently.

All the accents have been made from scratch, no pattern papers, only stamping and a bit of quilling :)

Aren't they a treat for the eyes? {heart}

Mixed Media MDF Tray!

Hey ya good people! How have you been?
I am all good and really having fun spending time with my 13 month old daughter. She is at this stage when she understands a little of what I am saying and does completely the opposite :D
It's fun watching her grow up and do all the naughty stuff.

But yes, with all the playing that has been happening around my home, I am really struggling to find time to blog about all that I have been creating. Hopefully I will get around to doing that soon. I know I keep saying this but well I have to keep the hopes up for this blog :D

A big thank you to all you people out there who visit and leave such appreciative comments. You guys really motivate me!

Today, I am sharing a fun yet different project, something I haven't done a lot in the past but it has always intrigued me. I tried my hands at a full fledged mixed media project.

Ever since I got this MDF straight tray from Craftslane, I have been in thinking mode of how to alter it. Finally mixed med…
