What's for lunch today

Nachos with cheesy dip !

YUM!

Madhubani Ganesha!

I love painting especially Madhubani and sometime feel bad about not taking out time to paint more. Madhubanis are just so colorful and pretty and I did this quick one (Madhubani Ganesha) as an engagement gift for a friend's sister.

It came out real pretty and I promised myself to make them more often :D

Hope you liked it! What are you planning to take time out for from your busy schedule?

What's for lunch today?

This fully loaded omelet is simple delicious :)

It's pretty straight forward and I am not posting the ingredients. Just in case you are curious, let me know and I will be happy to share.

Crawling - A Layout!

Even when my daughter will turn one in less than 15 days, I am nowhere close to completing my baby's first year scrapbook. But yes I am taking one step at a time and trying to do it by the end of this year (I have too many great photos of her to scrap and so little time :)).

I did manage to squeeze time to make this layout last week when I decided to work on my Craftslane product showcase for this week. Only because I had the perfect photo, perfect papers and perfect embellishments to put it together and the June sketch at C'est Magnifique was perfect for this layout too. I also wanted to show you that Craftslane products work equally well across different projects :)

By the way, C'est Magnifique also has an awesome Bits & Pieces giveaway open right now. It's super easy to enter and lot of yummies to be won. Just saying :)

And here is my layout,

This fabulous base sheet is from the Kaisercraft paper from the English Rose Collection called Pearl available at Crafts…

First In-House workshop in Pune!

I finally planned and conducted the very first "Handmade with Love" workshop here in Pune after being requested for it for quite some time now! And I got to tell you that it was whole lot of fun and I was only left thinking why the hell didn't I do it before :)

I have to say it's a lot of preparation and effort and having a baby to take care of doesn't make it any easy. But I am glad I pulled it off.

The group of ladies who came over were so enthusiastic and eager to learn and ofcourse so much fun to have over.

This 4-hour long workshop, turned into a 5 hour one and we were still struggling to finish everything. I guess we were just so busy having fun that we lost count of time :D

We did create some cool cards :)

And I wasn't the only one having fun and being excited, my husband joined in too :D

Fun, fun and more fun!

Can't wait to do this again :)

Let's Get Trendy Now!3 - Day 1: Neon

Hello and welcome to the first day of the Let's Get Trendy Now! 3 online workshop. We are talking about one of the hottest trend these days, NEON :)

I decided to alter a MDF monogram for my daughter's room(after I saw Y's gorgeous monogram) but was stumped with not having a lot of neon supplies in my stash but I had given into this neon trend sometime back by purchasing the Hero Arts Neon Pink ink pad and that saved my life.

I created my own background by rubbing the Hero Arts neon pink inkpad directly on to textured cardstock and then filled in the white spaces with a little bit of orange. And this little bit of orange adds so much to the background. Next I picked up some Pie Lane glitter and added lots of it and then little bits of this & that to finish it off.

I hope you liked it! Don't forget to visit the Let's get trendy now!3 Page and be inspired by some great neon projects.

Have a good week ahead my friends!

MDF Favor Boxes!

As you all may know, my term at Lulupu ended this month and even though I had a great time working there and meeting new people, I am  looking forward to some new wonderful opportunities and work ahead.

By the way, Lulupu already has some amazing new designers on the team and I hope you will keep visiting there :D

So now moving on to new opportunities and new work :)
I discovered this amazing crafts store called Craftslane and when they asked me to showcase some of their products here on my blog, I couldn't say no :)

So I picked up the MDF Hexagonal Box in medium size from their store and got crafty.

I started by painting the box with a bamboo acrylic paint using one of the many flat brushes available in the Craftslane store.

And then I gave it a coat of glitter mod podge, haven't tried this stuff before but I have to say it's awesome. It leaves this sweet little glitter all over and is so easy to apply with the Craftslane foam brush.

The glitter is hard to see in the pi…
