Mother's Day Gift - Photo fridge magnets!

Okay I admit, I have been procrastinating the blog posts for a while now(Mother's Day was like 3 days ago :)). Not because I am lazy but because I am tired these days with all the family commitments and work stuff and then having a very-active-11-month-old baby around doesn't help at all :)

Anyways, I just wanted to share what I gifted my 2 mothers (mum-in-law and mum) this year on Mother's day. Let's face it, mother's love their kids but when the grand child arrives, all their focus shifts to the new member in the family :)
Although I miss all the attention I used to get, I also feel happy that my daughter Aadya has such wonderful and loving grandparents.
So I thought nothing would make the grand mother's happier more than a picture of their grand daughter. I took the pictures of my daughter and converted them into fridge magnets with a personalized message at the bottom. And I had a cute and meaning full gift ready in no time :)

Nani is what Aadya would call my mum and Dadi is what she would call my mum-in-law. Needless to say, both the mums loved it :)

I used a chipboard base, Cheery Lynn Mini Font Die cuts and Mod Podge Dimensional to finish them off.  "Dadi" and "Nani" are hand-written. The back of these have a magnetic strip so they stick to the fridge without any trouble.

I am happy that I could make something for my two mums this year and they both loved it too :)

Entering this for the Gift Challenge in the Moxie Fab World  and Hands to hearts Challenge#10 - My Mother.

See ya soon !
