Birthday Album for a Friend on order!

Here is a pretty little 5X7 album that I did on order sometime back. If you follow me of Facebook, you must have already seen the cover of this album :)

Its a birthday gift for a friend from the client. A 6-page album with lots of pockets and tags to add pictures and journaling.

I used papers mostly from Crate Paper's Farmhouse collection, some bits and pieces from Studio Calico, Echo Park and Cosmo Cricket. And then some gorgeous paper flowers from Prima and American Crafts.

I loved how it turned out and so did the client :) Hope you like it too!!

Let's Get trendy Workshop - A Tag!!

This post has been sitting in my drafts for like forever. I have been so busy off late that I never got around to posting it. I know I have been saying this in almost every other post of mine, but I seriously as busy and tired :) That doesn't mean that I haven't been crafting, oh yes I have been and that too lots. It just means that I haven't had the chance to do all the other work like taking pictures, editing them, drafting posts and publishing them here. But I am planning to do all of that this week. :)

**This workshop happened almost a month back :)

I love it whenever the Three Cool Chicks (Yvonne, Amy, Julie) organize the Let's get trendy now! workshops. There are some cool tips and tricks, take on the current trends, some beautiful projects and of course prizes to be won and to top it all off, these workshops are free :)

I played along the Day 2 - Household supplies trend and created this tag.

Guest Designing at Lulupu!!

Today I am guest designing at Lulupu and playing along the grid challenge for this month. Its super fun I tell ya !

A little peak of what's waiting for you at the Lulupu blog :)

Come see me at Lulupu blog today!

NICE having you AROUND!

And this title is so very true for all of you wonderful people who take time out to read my blog and decide to follow my work. I love ya all :)

I had to take some time out from the oh-so-busy schedule to play along some of my favorite challenges. Ever since I saw the 10 Minute Craft Dash Challenge, I had wanted to participate. And because it normally takes me around 3 hours to get a card make(my secret is out :D), I was a little apprehensive about taking up this challenge. After all I can't even think of a card in 10 minutes let alone make it :D

But then I had this idea in mind using washi tapes that I had seen lot of people already do and I wanted to try. I {heart} washi tapes. They just make everything look great :)

So I gathered my supplies and held my breath and went to work and voila it was so easy I made the card in just 6 minutes flat.

I pulled out 3 different washi tapes to match the colors from the challenge and went crazy. The sentiment is from a Pebbles stamp set.

And …

What's for lunch today!

A fresh fruit and veggie salad!!

What went in? Finely chopped cherry tomatoes, cucumber, iceberg lettuce, green apple, red apple, pomegranate seeds (feel free to add more fruits like kiwi, grapes, etc. The more the better :D). Add some lemon and honey and top it up with roasted walnuts and you have a fabulous salad :)

Enjoy!

The Good Stuff!

This blog has been quite for so long, something very unlike me :)

But other than being sleep deprived (all thanks to a 3 month old :) ), I have been busy with a lot of things lately -  custom orders, DT commitments, preparing projects to submit for publications (ahem !), home improvement ideas and a secret something that I have been working on...and all this leaves me very tired at the end of the day :)

Today I have a fun card to share with you.

I love making cards that are not rectangle and square and this scallop circle die cut was such a fun shape to use as the base. All papers used are Bella BLVD and I just love that cutie owl :)

I am playing along with Let's Get Trendy Now -2 this is entered for the Day four- Diecuts /punches challenge

Hope you like it! Thanks for visiting today!
