First mini album on order!

Just in case you are wondering where have I been, I am still here...Its just that I am in silent mode :)

I haven't made anything for my crafting pleasure lately but I did complete some orders and am working on some more. Today I wanted to share my first Mini Album that I made on order. This one is special, as not only it is my first one on order, it is actually my first time making an album and boy, did I have fun? I had a blast working on it and I am so glad that the person who ordered it, liked it just as much.

The cover of the album which is my favorite part :) I used lot of different papers from Studio Calico, American Crafts and Echo Park to make the cover. The pretty charm was a gift from Tejal.

A close up of all the tiny details on the cover. I used lot of Echo Park stickers to build up the sentiment.

The first page. I have used Echo Park Victoria Garden collection papers and journaling cards on inside pages.

The photo insert. I used Pie Lane Border strips in red and pink to give the photo inserts some zing. I also used 3D embellishments from Itsy Bitsy. I have kept the Photo inserts simple to let the photographs shine.
One of the other pages, just wanted to show the beautiful musical background paper :)
One of my other favorite pages :)

Just a collective shot of some of the photo inserts

I wanted to make a video and show all of it but didn't have the strength to do that so just thought I'd share a few pictures and give you an idea. I hope you like it. I am new to making albums so I would love to receive feedback and suggestions :)

Thanks for visiting!

PPRS November Sketch Challenge!

Hello! It’s November 15th and time for a new sketch challenge at Prickley Pear Blog. There is a lovely sketch for you to play along with and of course there are prizes to be won. And since there are no product restrictions this month i.e. you are NOT required to use Prickley Pear Products to participate, I really hope you will play along for a chance to win 15$ certificate to the PPRS store.

Here is my take on the challenge:

Supplies: cardstock: Elle Erre Fabriano!; stamps:Prickley Pear (Victorian Ornaments) ink: Jenni Bowlin (Seed Packet); embellishments: Pie Lane(Frosted Crystals, Tiny Gems), Twine from The Twinery

Sorry for the bad quality pictures. Anywhoo, my ornaments are heat embossed with AC zing emossing powder (leaf) and adorned with Pie Lane's new product "Tiny gems". I made this card during my sick-out-of-mojo days, so just kept it simple and went with the sketch.

Don't forget to visit the PPRS blog for more inspiration. I can't wait to see what you will do with the lovely sketch.

Hope you like it! Thanks for visiting!

Guest Designing for Imaginations!

As I said before, these days I am suffering from a lot of things all together.
- being sick
- weakness (just a better term for laziness :D)

- no mojo for crafting

and so I am only doing projects strictly for DT, GDT assignments and finishing up pending orders.

Anyways, today I am guest designing at Aditya's Blog Craft Zone.
He opened up an online book and craft store called Imginations a while back and is looking for Design Team members to promote the store. I was really delighted when he invited me over to design, but since I am already committed to a couple of design teams, I agreed to be a guest designer and making samples now and then if not on regular basis.  By the way, Design Team Call is still open for Imaginations, so you still have a chance to apply

So for my first sample today, I used the First Edition Paper's Love Letters Pattern Papers from Imaginations Store  to whip up a quick card.

Supplies: cardstock: Elle Erre Fabriano!; pattern paper: First Edition Love Letter 6X6; embellisment: Echo Park Victoria Garden Sticker, mulberry flowers

I used different papers from the Love Letter paper pad and arranged  them in strips with width in ascending order from left to right. I wanted the papers to shine and so decided not to add much details on this one. For the sentiment, I used a sticker from the Echo Park Victoria Garden Collection and added some mulberry flowers to finish off the card.

I hope you will find time to visit the Craft Zone blog and the Imaginations store.

Thanks for visiting today!

Guest Designing @ CraftyJC Challenge!

Hey ya, how are you all? I know me and my blog have been quite for a while and I haven't been visiting your blogs either.  The reason is that I got sick and then lost my mojo on the way. Have been trying to get back into the grove but nothing has happened yet. Maybe soon. I am somehow just managing to complete my DT and GDT assignments and pending orders. I hope things get better soon :)

So today I am guest designing over at CraftyJC Challenge#11 - Pick your Palette where the challenge is to chose your color palette from the given three. Its fun, I am telling ya :)

For my inspiration card, I picked Palette#2, and came up with a clean and simple card.

Supplies: cardstock: Elle Erre Fabriano!; stamps: PTI(Simple Sunflower); ink: Unity Stamp Co. (French Lilac), Pigment Ink(blue); embellishments: Pie Lane(Rainbow lustre gems), Mulberry Flowers 1.5 cm and mulberry leaves

Super simple card and I love those mulberry flowers and leaves, they are so delicate and add so much dimension to the projects (they are available for purchase with me) .

I hope you feel inspired to play along with the challenge. Visit CraftyJC Challenge for all the details on how to play along.

I am linking this card for CMP#3 - Flowers.

I hope you like it! Thanks for visiting!!

Young Crafters Unite Blog Hop!

Welcome to the second blog hop for Young Crafter's Unite and since I love their challenges, I decided to participate again and get creative. The theme for today's blog hope is "Masculine" (certainly a difficult one for me :D ) which is also the theme for current monthly challenge at YCU.

If you arrived here from Neelu's blog, you are on the right track. Otherwise you might want to start from Young Crafter's Unite Blog. There are some fabulous prizes lined up, so do not forget to leave comments along the way.
For my card masculine card today, I went with the CUTE (well, boys can be cute sometimes :D)

Supplies: cardstock: Elle Erre Fabriano!; stamps: Penny Black(hello friend),  ink: Jenni Bowlin(Brown Sugar); coloring medium: Faber Castell markers; pattern paper: MME (Stella & Rose); embellishments: Pie Lane crystals

I picked up my only and well loved Penny Black stamp set and had an amazing time paper piecing the image. Did you notice how I used the balloons from a different image in the same stamp set and attached them to the gift box(which is actually a luggage bag) in the car? And did you notice the head lights of the car? Those gorgeous big Pie Lane Crystals are perfect for the head lights :) . I finished the card with a birthday rub-on sentiment from Hobby Ideas.

Your next stop in the hop is Barb Murphy.

I hope you have a great time hopping along. Thanks for stopping by today :)

Polkadot Door blog hop #November

Today, I was invited to guest design over at Polkadot Door Designs and I was happy to say yes and play along :)

Here is the inspiration picture for this month's challenge

and here is my take on it

Supplies: cardstock: Elle Erre Fabriano!; stamps: smART Works,  ink: Momento(Tuxedo Black); coloring medium: Faber Castell Water color pencils

I went quite literally with the inspiration picture(the brown table, colorful dishes and serving bowls, strawberries) because I had the long ignored perfectly matching stamp to go with it. :D
It was super fun to color in this image using water color pencils.

Here is the list of blogs participating in the hop. Please take some time to visit them and leave comments because there are prizes to be won.

                     Ujjwal (you are here)

I hope you enjoy the blog hop and please stop by the Polkadot Door Blog to leave a comment voting for my project so I could win the giveaway :) I know you will do that for me and in return I will love you even more. LOL

I hope you like it! Thanks for visiting!
