Good times!!

Happy Friday!! Do you have any fun plans for the weekend? I haven't decided on anything just yet but might go out for a nice dinner or something :)

**Please be gentle on me. This is my first ever layout :)

I have been thinking about doing layouts for quite some time now but never thought I had any real talent there :) (Also, I really low on storage area) But off late, I am having the strangest luck with pattern papers. I seem to win all the pattern paper giveaways and contests and have yummy papers all around me these days :D So I thought it was high time I started using them (I heard you, Tejal :) ) So here is my first ever layout for you.

Supplies: papers: Studio Calico State Fair Collection(cotton candy, pie contest);stamps: Ippity(Delightful Little Things, Fall for you); ink: Momento (Tuxedo Black, lady bug),Rub-ons & thickers & gems

I am using the Sunday Sketch at Studio Calico, the theme from Wee Memories Scrappy Saturday Challenge#53 - Girls just wanna have fun and the inspiration from the April Inspiration at Ippity blog - I took the fan flowers from the photo.

This is a photograph of me and my best buddy and room-mate of 3 years in college. We were the naughtiest and craziest people there and those were certainly the best days of our lives :) Its a 12X12 layout and I am thinking of getting it framed and gifting it to my sweet friend on friendship day. What do you think? Would that be a good idea? I would love to hear from you.

Do you think I have any talent for layouts? Should I do them in future?

Hope you like it!! Thanks for visiting!!

Happy Bird-day!!

Happy Sunday!!

Popping in to share a card for Unity's tweet tweet Challenge using the colors from Ippity Monthly Challenge - week 2 and Tiffany's sketch.

I tried the circular card for the first time (YAY for me :)) and I am so happy with it.

Supplies: cardstock: Elle Erre Fabriano!; stamps: Ippity (Fall for you); ink: Momento Tuxedo Black; Embellishments: Twine from the twinery; coloring medium: Uni-ball pen

All the elements (sentiment, banner, bird) in this card are from Ippity - Fall for you set. I stamped the banner and the bird on vanilla card-stock, colored them and then cut them out to place it on the card. The bird is popped up on 3D foam dot.

Hope you like it!! Thanks for visiting!!

Just in time!!

Happy Friday bloggers :)

For some reason or I would say for no reason at all my mojo has left me alone :( But I think more than the mojo, its my laziness that is to be blamed (and for the laziness, I blame the Indian weather- unbearably HOT). I have had a few ideas running in my head but have been lazy enough not to implement them and now they are gone :D
I hope I get back on track soon.

Anyways I just made in time for Tesa's color challenge at Yvonne's blog..phew!! And I combined it with the first ever Indian Craft Room challenge - Color Hues + I.C.R interpretation.

Supplies: cardstock: Elle Erre Fabriano!; stamps: Mark's Finest Papers; ink: Momento (Tuxedo Black); coloring medium: Faber Castell water color pencils

The image and the frame has been colored with water color pencils.
I interpreted I. C. R. as Inks, CAS, Rectangles and here are the colors used.
